What Glide is, in five checkable facts
See it work
The product, not a rendering of it.
Three recordings from the app itself: the account home, a currency conversion, and the card controls. No mock-ups, no aspirational screens.
The account
Dollars, euros and stablecoins in one balance.
A USDC deposit that landed on Solana, a card payment in another currency, a transfer out and a conversion between two of your own currencies — one account, one activity feed, no juggling between an exchange and a bank.
- ✓Local account details in USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, SGD, HKD and AUD
- ✓Stablecoin deposits credit as soon as the network confirms
- ✓Convert between the currencies you hold without leaving the account
- Live product
A USD → EUR conversion on a demo account. The rate in the footage is seed data, not a live quote. Convert
The quote holds still while you decide.
Pick the pair and the amount and the app quotes it against the mid-market rate, shows the cost, and locks the number for long enough to read it. Transfer fees are published per rail and quoted with the transfer, before you confirm it.
- Live product
The card screen on a demo account. Spend figures in the footage are seed data. Cards
One Visa card, with the controls on the same screen.
Freeze the card, turn online payments or ATM withdrawals off, set a monthly limit, add it to Apple Pay — from the screen where you can also see what it has spent. Physical and virtual cards, and no foreign transaction fee from Glide.
One account. Two ways to run it.
The same rails, the same custody and the same pricing underneath. Choose the surface that matches how you get paid.
Who it is for
Built for the people the traditional system keeps turning away.
Your passport, your country, your industry and where your income comes from should not decide whether you can hold money.

What a transfer costs
The whole cost, before you send it.
Conversions are quoted at the mid-market rate, with the cost charged as a visible fee rather than buried in the rate. Here is how that arithmetic works out on a $1,000 transfer to a euro account, against the two ways it usually goes.
| Provider | Rate applied | Transfer fee | They receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Glide | 0.9200 | $10.00 | €910.80 |
| Typical remittance app | 0.9090 | $4.99 | €904.46 |
| Typical high-street bank | 0.8906 | $25.00 | €868.33 |
Illustrative, not a quote: it assumes a mid-market rate of 0.9200, the app's own flat 1% conversion fee on the Glide row, and rate markups of 1.2% and 3.2% on the two comparison rows — assumptions made for the example, not prices sampled from any provider. The transfer fee is deducted before conversion. Transfer fees are published per rail and quoted with the transfer, before you confirm it. Open the calculator for the live rate on this corridor.
Free, no account needed
Every code you need to move money, looked up for free.
We keep the bank-code directories because we needed them ourselves. IFSC for India, ABA routing numbers for the US, SWIFT and BIC for everywhere else — searchable, current, and free whether or not you ever open an account.
India
IFSC codes
Every Indian bank branch has its own IFSC. Find the right one before an NEFT, RTGS or IMPS transfer goes to the wrong branch.
United States
Routing numbers
A nine-digit ABA number tells the US system where an account lives. It differs by region and by whether you are sending ACH or wire.
International
SWIFT / BIC codes
The 8 or 11 character code that routes an international wire to a specific bank, and often a specific branch of it.

Straight answers
Before you open an account
The six things people ask us most, answered without the marketing voice.
Is Glide a bank?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than borrow the word. Glide is a registered money services business, not a bank, and balances here are not deposit-insured. Your crypto sits in wallets and vaults you control — Privy-backed embedded wallets day to day, Safe on EVM or Squads on Solana for treasury. Your fiat sits with regulated banking and EMI partners, under their custody and deposit-protection rules rather than ours. The custody page explains exactly where each kind of balance lives.
Which currencies and countries does Glide support?
You can hold, receive and convert more than 80 currencies, with local account details in USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, SGD, HKD and AUD, and send to 180 countries over SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments, ACH and local rails. What is live differs by currency and by country, so the coverage page is the authoritative list rather than this paragraph.
Can I open an account on any passport?
Yes. There is no nationality restriction and no address requirement beyond the identity checks every regulated provider has to run. There is no minimum deposit and no revenue requirement for business accounts. Card issuance is the one thing that varies by region — the card eligibility tool answers that in a few seconds.
How fast are stablecoin deposits?
Deposits of USDC, USDT and other major stablecoins credit as soon as the network confirms, typically within a minute, and they work before your fiat verification finishes. Converting into a supported fiat currency is quoted against the mid-market rate with the cost shown before you confirm, and the converted balance is spendable on your card straight away.
What exchange rate does Glide use?
Conversions are quoted at the mid-market rate, with the cost charged as a visible fee rather than buried in the rate. The public calculators quote the same way the app does, without an account, so you can check the number on your corridor before you sign up for anything.
What does Glide cost?
There is no opening fee, no monthly minimum and no per-user charge. Transfer fees are published per rail and quoted with the transfer, before you confirm it. The full schedule is on the pricing page, which you can read before you sign up rather than after.
Your money. Any border. No permission needed.
Open a Glide account in about ten minutes and pay like a local in every country you land in.
