AngelList alternatives, compared honestly
What AngelList is genuinely good at, where it is worth looking elsewhere, and which products compete for the same job.

In short
What are the alternatives to AngelList?
The realistic alternatives to AngelList are the other cap table platforms in the same market — Carta, Pulley, Ledgy, AngelList, Fidelity Private Shares, Eqvista, Cake Equity, Vestd, Astrella and Qapita — plus Toku for token compensation. Glide Equity, shipped in August 2026, is now also in that set, and is by some distance the least proven option in it.
What AngelList is
AngelList's centre of gravity is fund infrastructure: syndicates, SPVs, rolling funds and fund administration for the managers investing in startups. Alongside that it offers a startup-side stack that includes incorporation and cap table management, bundled cheaply because the fund side is where the business model lives.
What AngelList is genuinely good at
- Fund and SPV infrastructure that very few competitors match
- Cap table sits next to the vehicles actually investing in you, which removes a reconciliation step
- Low-friction entry for companies at the formation stage
Who AngelList is for
- Startups raising through AngelList syndicates, SPVs or roll-up vehicles
- Fund managers who want fund admin and portfolio data in one place
- Very early companies who want incorporation and a cap table without a separate procurement decision
Choose AngelList over Glide if
- Your investors are already on AngelList and the vehicles live there
- You are incorporating now and want fewer vendors, not the best-in-class one
- You run a fund and administration is the real workload
Trade-offs worth checking yourself
These are trade-offs, not defects, and scope in this market changes. Confirm anything that would change your decision directly with AngelList.
- Cap table is one component of a fund-first platform rather than the product the company is organised around
- If deep equity-plan administration across jurisdictions is the job, a specialist will fit better
- Pricing and packaging on both the startup and fund sides change; confirm current terms directly rather than trusting any comparison page, including this one

What Glide does today
Glide is a stablecoin business account that added a cap table, Glide Equity, in August 2026. It covers the register and the workflow around it; it does not cover valuations, fund administration, national plan types or tokens, and it is the newest product in this comparison by a wide margin.
- Glide Equity: a cap table of record for shares, options, RSUs, SAFEs and convertible notes, on an exact whole-share ledger
- Set up from scratch or migrate from Carta by uploading your Carta export files
- Email invitations, an accept-your-equity flow with e-signature, and holder logins that show a holder their own position only
- Data rooms, document storage, recorded valuations and rounds, and a full audit trail
- Stablecoin treasury: hold and move USDC on Solana and EVM chains
- On-chain multisig vaults — Safe on EVM, Squads on Solana — with M-of-N approvals
- Multi-rail payouts (ACH, SEPA, FPS, PIX, wire) alongside on-chain settlement
- Cards, payroll and contractor payments from the same balance
- Free equity calculators — dilution, vesting, SAFE conversion, waterfall, token unlocks
Other options worth a look
| Product | Why it is on this list |
|---|---|
| Carta | Also does fund admin, with a deeper equity product. |
| Pulley | If you only want the cap table done well. |
