America First Federal Credit Union routing number
America First publishes one routing number, 324377516, and that half is easy. The account number is the half that takes work: the credit union issues a separate twelve-digit ACH number for each savings account, checking account and loan, so the number has to match the account you want credited.

What is the America First Credit Union routing number?
It is 324377516. America First publishes that single routing/transit number for direct deposit, ACH payments and incoming wires alike, so there is nothing to look up by branch, state or account type. It is printed at the bottom-left of an America First cheque and on the credit union’s own wire instruction form.

That is half of what a payer needs; the account number is the other half.
Why America First also asks for a 12-digit ACH number
America First numbers accounts, not members: in its own words, you have a different account number for each savings and checking account, as well as each loan. Payroll systems and anyone setting up an ACH debit need the twelve-digit Direct Deposit & Electronic Payment Number (ACH) for the share the money should land in.
Open the right account in online banking
Click the checking or share savings account you want credited, then unhide the field labelled Direct Deposit & Electronic Payment Number (ACH). A credit card or loan has its own.
Or read it off a cheque
On an America First cheque, 324377516 sits to the left of a longer twelve-digit figure. That longer number is the one your employer needs.
Fill in both fields on the form
America First’s Direct Deposit Authorization has separate boxes for Bank Routing Number and 12 Digit Direct Deposit Number (ACH). The credit union’s routing number page also shows a worked example for building the twelve digits from your account number.
Sending a wire to an America First account
Incoming wires, domestic and international, use the same routing number. Address them to America First Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 9199, Ogden, UT 84409, with the member’s name as listed on the account, the account type, and the account number — which America First asks for as eight digits or less here, not the twelve-digit ACH number used for direct deposit.
| Wire | Fee | Cut-off |
|---|---|---|
| Incoming, domestic or international | $10 | Credited same day |
| Outgoing domestic | $15 | 4:15 p.m. Mountain |
| Outgoing international, personal accounts | $30 | 3:45 p.m. Mountain |
The fees and cut-offs come from America First’s wire instruction form, revised April 2026; its Rate and Fee Schedule is the authority if they move. A domestic wire after the cut-off is processed the next business day, and members in California, Nevada and Arizona should adjust for the time difference.
America First has no SWIFT code — what an overseas sender does
The credit union states it outright on its wire form: America First does not have a SWIFT code. Its routing number page goes further — America First does not directly receive international wires at all, so an intermediary institution is required to forward the payment to 324377516.
- Ask the sending bank which U.S. intermediary it will use; America First says most foreign institutions already have one.
- If it has none, America First names Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. — SWIFT code WFBIUS6S, 420 Montgomery, San Francisco, CA 94104.
- Expect America First’s $10 incoming wire fee. What the sending bank and the intermediary charge appears nowhere in America First’s instructions.
America First publishes only its own charge; the others show up in the amount that arrives. Glide shows the rate and the fee before the transfer is sent and pays out in US dollars over ACH or wire, so 324377516 still decides where the money lands — the cost simply stops being a surprise at the other end.
Why you may see more than one America First routing number
The Federal Reserve’s ACH participant directory carries six records under the America First Federal Credit Union name — one filed to a Provo address, the rest to Riverdale. Only one of the six appears in the credit union’s own published instructions, and it is 324377516.
The directory resolves part of that itself: the record for 324079542 carries the Federal Reserve’s “send items using the new routing number” flag, pointing at 324377516 — what a renumber or absorbed charter looks like in the file. The other four carry the code for “send items to customer routing number”, so the Fed’s file treats them as live even though America First does not publish them.

Frequently asked questions
What is the routing number for America First Credit Union?
The routing number is 324377516. America First publishes this one routing/transit number for direct deposit, ACH payments and incoming wires, and it is printed at the bottom-left of every America First cheque. Older numbers such as 324079542 still appear in the Federal Reserve ACH directory, but the Fed’s own record for that one redirects to 324377516.
Is the America First routing number the same in every state?
Yes. America First publishes a single routing number, 324377516, for all members regardless of which state their branch is in — the credit union does not issue a different one by region or by account type. What differs from member to member is the twelve-digit ACH number, not the routing number.
What account number do I give for an America First direct deposit?
The twelve-digit Direct Deposit & Electronic Payment Number (ACH). Find it by opening the checking or share savings account in online banking and unhiding that field, or read the twelve digits printed beside 324377516 on one of your cheques. America First issues a different account number for each savings and checking account and each loan, so give the one for the account you want credited.
Does America First Credit Union have a SWIFT code?
No. America First states on its own wire instruction form that it does not have a SWIFT code, and its routing number page adds that it does not directly receive international wires, so an intermediary institution is required. If the sending bank has no U.S. intermediary of its own, America First names Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., SWIFT code WFBIUS6S. The wire is then addressed to routing number 324377516, America First Credit Union, P.O. Box 9199, Ogden, UT 84409.
How much does America First charge for a wire transfer?
As published on America First’s wire instruction form in April 2026: $10 for any incoming wire, whether domestic or international; $15 for an outgoing domestic wire; and $30 for an outgoing international wire on a personal account. The credit union’s Rate and Fee Schedule is the authoritative version if those change.
What time is the America First wire cut-off?
Domestic wires taken after 4:15 p.m. Mountain Time are processed on the next business day, and international wires on personal accounts cannot be initiated after 3:45 p.m. Mountain Time. America First asks members in California, Nevada and Arizona to adjust for the time difference rather than using their local clock. Incoming wires are credited the same day they are received.
Why does my America First direct deposit keep getting rejected?
The routing number is the one part that cannot vary, because 324377516 is the same for every member. America First publishes two things to check instead. First, when you request an external transfer from another institution, all names must match those on file or it will be rejected. Second, the twelve-digit ACH number belongs to one specific account — each savings account, checking account and loan has its own — so it has to be the number for the account you actually want credited.
Is America First Credit Union federally insured?
Yes. America First is a federally chartered, member-owned credit union regulated by the National Credit Union Administration, and savings are federally insured to at least $250,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government. Its own December 2024 figures put it at 1,554,689 members, $23.78 billion in assets and 116 full-service branches.
