Once it lands, BMO’s disclosure gives wire transfers and direct deposits same-day availability. Its wire FAQ adds that a domestic wire is typically released and received the same day, while an international one usually takes several business days to reach the recipient.

BMO tells customers choosing between USD and an available foreign currency to consider “the total cost and amount available to the recipient, including exchange rates and fees”. Its FAQ also warns that wire fees and account benefits can vary by account type, so check the disclosure for your account before relying on the standard schedule above.
